 Kpandu is a town in the mountainous Volta Region of Ghana.  It is near the north eastern arm of Lake Volta and the Togo border.  Kpandu is connected by road through Gbefi to Hohoe, Ho and Dumbai

Fish Market:  On the Volta Lake located in Torkor. 
 
German Buildings:  There are two separate storey building once used as hospital by the Germans at Kpando.  Overlooking Kpando town is the old German Governor’s Residency, a massive stone building. A few other relics can be found in it.
 
Monkey Sanctuary:  Tafi Atome is located about 230 km northeast of Accra on the Accra-Hohoe road.  The monkey sanctuary (a sacred grove) is a traditional conservation area backed by statutory enforcement in co-operation with local communities. It is located in the Volta Region of Ghana. Tafi Atome is the home of Mona and Patas monkeys. These monkeys are found in a remnant patch of forests, which has survived fire and human disturbance around the village. These monkeys are regarded as gods and as such the natives do not kill them. They are protected by tradition.
 
Dam at Akosombo: protected by t The Akosombo Hydroelectric Project (Akosombo HEP), usually referred to as the Akosombo Dam, is a hydroelectric dam in southeastern Ghana in the Akosombo gorge on the Volta River. The construction of the dam flooded the Volta River Basin, and the subsequent creation of Lake Volta. Lake Volta is the world's largest man-made lake, covering about 3.6% of Ghana's land area
